Vashon Island, WA Farmhouse: Click on this this link to see  a slide show that gives a very clear before-and-after perspectives of this whole-house renovation project.   A 100-year-old farmhouse with several structural and cosmetic challenges.  The owners’ dog was a tremendous help throughout the project.  (Double-click on image to enlarge)

   

     

Small Upscale Bath: Click on this link  to see this  upgrade of a  small and only bathroom in a 1920s Craftsman style home while maintaining  the architectural integrity with trim detail and quality of construction.

        

Artistic Custom Kitchen: This is a custom kitchen that we remodeled in the fall of 2008 for an artist and her family.  We removed all existing cabinets, built a new pantry and coat closet space and installed new custom cabinets provided by the cabinet-maker, Seattle Custom Cabinets..  We were able to maintain the details  and trim work of the original  turn -of-the-century firehouse that was moved by barge and converted to a residence in the 1970s. The artist, Clare Dohna of Vashon Island Washington did all of the painting and made and installed all of the custom tile work.

The under-counter refrigerators were installed with custom wood panels provided by the cabinet maker to match  the rest of the cabinetry;  shown in the photos with the glass-door upper cabinets.

 

 

Seattle Exterior Facelift:  Here are some photos of a complete exterior siding replacement installed using the Rain-screen technique; a method that passively aids in the heating, ventilation  and cooling of your home.  The client chose the concrete siding material, Ceraclad   mixed with stained T & G cedar as the materials for their project.   We were able to design and manufacture a custom flashing design to accomplish the look they were after.

     

West Seattle Artist’s Studio: In 2011 we renovated a turn of the century 200su. ft garage into an artist’s space full of light with portrait-like views of the exquisite surrounding garden space. (Double-click on image to enlarge)
